Here is how the climb actually starts, so you know exactly what you are walking into.
First, get comfortable. Take a cruise around the site, get the lay of the land, and find your way to the community page so you know where your people are before you need them. No rush, no pressure, just settle in.
Then head to the Welcome Lesson and start there. Every lesson works the same way, so once you have the rhythm of one, you have all of them. There is a video to watch, and downloads that include your guides and your workbook. Watch the video first, then pull the guides and start working through them.
Mt. Awareness is where you lay the foundation. This is where you build real awareness of how your own ADHD brain works, and then put skills to work in real time. You get challenges to practice with, and a place to work through what you are learning as it actually comes up in your life.
Plan for about one to three hours a week. That is enough to watch the video, work the guides, and try the skills in real life without it taking over your week. Some weeks you will want more, some less, and both are fine.
Take the time it takes. If a Peak takes you longer than a week, take longer. There is no clock here, no one waiting, no timeline you are failing to hit. You are here to figure it out in a way that sticks, and that happens on your schedule.
Get stuck or have a question? Head to the community boards. Ask what you need to ask, meet people who actually get it, build accountability groups, and share your wins when you hit them. You work at your own pace, but you are never doing it alone.
